Taking time to focus on sobriety doesn't mean that Lindsay Lohan has given up her passion for fashion. Radar Online reports that the troubled actress has been overseeing the production of a new handbag line from her company 6126 while still in rehab.
Lohan's partner on the line, designer Paz Shakked, says that the starlet's time in jail and rehab hasn't slowed down their production schedule. Lohan, who is currently receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center, has been keeping in touch with the designer via e-mail.
"We work around our schedules," says the designer. "We work together really well, we have a nice chemistry."

Shakked, who has worked for Tarina Tarantino and Dolce & Gabbana in the past, confirms that the actress is very much an active partner in the design process, saying, "I talk to her every chance I get ... Everything is approved by Lindsay."
The affordable handbag line, most of which will sell for under $150, is heavily influenced by Lohan's taste, from the weight of the pieces to their decorative adornments. Shakked says that Lohan is "very experienced in fashion" and calls the design "very beautiful."
"She knows fashion, that is for sure," says Shakked.
