Regrets, she has few (if any). LeAnn Rimes has opened up about the cheating scandal that has damaged her once sparkling reputation and career, telling ABC News' Robin Roberts in a teary interview that she and Eddie Cibrian have nothing to be ashamed of for finding each other.
"It happens every day to so many people," Rimes says of meeting and falling for then-married Cibrian on the set of a TV movie. "And if I take away my album sales, my words ... you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn't work, who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love."

"And if I take away my album sales, my words ... you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn't work, who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love."
Rimes, who was married to dancer Dean Sheremet at the time, told Roberts that she was as shocked as anybody that she cheated.
"That's just not me. What happened is not who I am, period," she says. "I do know how much I love him. So, I've always said I don't live my life with regret. I can't."
Cibrian, who has two children with ex-wife Brandi Glanville, agrees with his lady. "The truth is that we're human beings. We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we're human. We fell in love."
Rimes' career has taken quite a hit since she and Cibrian's relationship started on the set of 'Northern Lights.' Recently, the editor-in-chief of Shape Magazine apologized to the mag's readers, who objected to having Rimes on the cover of the October issue.
"You are all in good company," Valerie Latona wrote to disgruntled Shape-ers. "As you all agree Shape has made a terrible mistake in putting LeAnn Rimes on the cover. Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show (through her story)... "
Rimes shot back, saying the magazine was sending mixed signals because they were throwing her a party to celebrate the cover. "I find this very contradictory," she wrote to her fans.
But Rimes isn't allowing the mounting criticism get to her, admitting in the ABC interview that she can't change critics' minds on the issue. "Nothing I'm going to say is going to change it. I do know that and I have accepted that."
