We usually have 2 MLNs readers a month on our servers but Issuu it's just the beginning of our development project, just another step, just something we need to grow up and be better issue after issue.
A lot of news will be released in the next months but for the moment...
Thank you every1; we are working on a completely new magazine and your support is the best food for our mind!!!

To be or Not to be

What I'm asking myself is...:
Where is the limit for the information?
American Constitution says it must be free and available for everyone.
I personally think, it must be real and true.
Otherwise if, as a journalist, I cross that limit and I get arrested, how can promise the right information to the people reading at my magazine, if I am the first one censoring the reality.
It's just a question: where's the limit where I can still feel proud of my profession doing my job?

Well done mr Branson

What to say?
over 12 MLN iPAD tablets sold in 2010, expecting to reach 20 MLN within the end of the 2011...
there's nothing else to say.
Well done Mr Branson.
We are into the digital magazines business since 2006 and it's funny because they called us till yesterday: "the web editors", "the web journalists", "the web photographers"...
Today they are looking at our numbers and they dream to be part of our business one day.
sometimes, it's just a funny life...

Johnny Depp Reveals Why He Hasn't Married Longtime Girlfriend Vanessa Paradis

Johnny Depp and longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis have been a couple for more than 12 years and have two children--but marriage isn't happening anytime soon. The critically acclaimed actor reveals to Extra why they haven't tied the knot.

"I never found myself needing that piece of paper," Depp confessed. "Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don't need somebody to say, okay you're married... If Vanessa wanted to get hitched, why not... But the thing is, I'd be so scared of ruining her last name. She's got such a good last name."

The actor also revealed his holiday plans with Paradis and his kids, Lily-Rose Melody, 11, and John Christopher, 8: "Sleeping, sleeping and playing with a lot of toys with my son. Hanging out with the kiddies."

He concluded the interview by talking about Angelina Jolie, his co-star in the upcoming flick, 'The Tourist.' "She's just a regular gal... with a perverse sense of humor. She's got a vivid and energetic sense of humor. She doesn't mind traveling to the dark or to the very weird.

Call Me Seriously: Insider Says Hasselbeck 'Feels Used' By Palin

Back in 2008, when the 'The View's' resident conservative Elizabeth Hasselbeck introduced then-VP nominee Sarah Palin at Florida political rallies, the daytime host thought it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. But alas, two years later, poor Elizabeth is left feeling used and confused now that the 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' star no longer returns her calls.

"I am more than honored to be there," Elizabeth said of being asked to introduce Palin at campaign rallies in Florida. "So, that's an honor and I'm excited to do it and I'll have some stories, I'm sure, on Monday."

Well, it turns out those "stories" didn't last very long, because after the election was over, Sarah no longer needed the 'View' star's support, so she simply moved on.

"Elizabeth feels used by the former governor," an insider with knowledge of the situation tells me. "She stood up and did everything she could to help get Sarah into the White House, expecting to have made a friend for life. Elizabeth isn't fake. You might not like her politics, but she is a very genuine person. If she likes someone, she will do whatever she can to help them."

That genuine desire to help her friend inspired Elizabeth to take a break from her home and family and hit the campaign trail, something she didn't mind one bit.

"What she does mind is the fact that now this friend no longer needs her, she doesn't even return her calls!" my source says.

Don't feel so dumped, Elizabeth -- I'm not so sure Sarah is returning her old running mate's calls either!

Earlier this month, West announced he wouldn't be returning to the 'Today' show, after his notorious interview with Matt Lauer.

Wynter Gordon Ditches J.Lo to Start Solo Career

Wynter Gordon is fresh off the release of her EP 'The First Dance,' but the 25-year-old songstress is hardly a newbie in the industry. Having penned hits for Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige and Danity Kane, she's the genius behind some of music's biggest tracks. And while she's down with 'Jenny from the Block,' Wynter knew it was time to make her own mark as a solo artist.

After bringing Atlantic Records executives to tears during her showcase, Wynter is finally taking center stage and putting the finishing touches on her debut album, 'With the Music I Die,' due out in 2011.

Moss also donned a gorgeous Bibhu Mohapatra peach embroidered gown complete with large hoop earrings. And let's not overlook her bronzed cheeks and glossy lips.

We can't wait to see what's next for Elisabeth (and Peggy)!

Jesse James' Life Literally Turned Upside Down in a Car Crash

According to RadarOnline, Jesse's 'Trophy' truck wound up on its side beside the desert road after he crashed the off-road vehicle during the 1061 mile long 43rd Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. The crash occurred last weekend.

Luckily, neither Jesse or his navigator were seriously injured in the accident, which happened only 160 miles into the race near the town of San Felipe.

After making some repairs, James was able to re-joining the race at the 520 mile mark.

The accident caps a topsy-turvy year in Jesse's life.. There was the cheating scandal with Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee and the divorce from his wife Sandra Bullock earlier this year.

Jesse was ordered by a judge to complete an evaluation along with his first wife Janine Lindemulder in their bitter custody battle over their six-year-old daughter, Sunny James.

Just this week, Jesse's current girlfriend, tattooist Kat Von D's house got burned down with her cat inside.

Jesse also announced he would be closing West Coast Choppers, the custom motorcycle business he owns in Long Beach, California.

French actor Martinez is best known for his role as Diane Lane's lover in the movie 'Unfaithful' and for dating Kylie Minogue for four years.

Taylor Swift Bit Forces Jay Leno to Reluctantly Give Credit Where Credit is Due

Howard Stern has long shouted from the mountaintop of his satellite radio show that Jay Leno has been stealing bits for 'The Tonight Show' for years. Stern specifically mentions how his longtime 'homeless game' was transformed into 'Jaywalking,' Leno's signature franchise. Now Stern isn't the one who finds his material in the middle of 'The Tonight Show' without clear credit.

Last week, we brought you a brilliant video compilation of Taylor Swift appearing surprised at award shows, which we saw courtesy of our friends at TheFabLife.com. Turns out we weren't the only ones who fell in love with the clip. Leno's staff loved it too and a shortened version of the montage was played for Taylor Swift on 'The Tonight Show' Monday night. So Leno gave the video's creators the proper credit, right? Not exactly.

The Swift video was a collaboration between Rich Juzwiak of FourFour.Typepad.com and Kate Spencer. Juzwiak's details what happened when Leno's team saw the video in his post 'Jay Leno Ripped Me Off':

Sean O'Rourke, a research coordinator for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno reached out to me for permission to show my Taylor Swift Is Surprised video during an upcoming sit-down interview with the pop star. "Duh! Squee! Duuuuuh!" I said (not really, but I did go, "HA!" in a quiet gym locker room when I initially read it off my Blackberry). Sean assured me I and/or my blog would get credit. Duh squared, that wasn't even a concern. How silly I become when I'm excited! In my response, I stressed how important it was for my friend Kate Spencer (who came up with the idea for the video in the first place) to be credited, too. Kate and me/fourfour and The Fab Life/both attributions -- however they wanted to do it, I asked that they somehow mention us both. Sean warned me that he couldn't promise any specific mention from Jay, but at the very least, our names would appear in the show's credits -- at least our names would be down somewhere. Great! Since Jay Leno tends toward the diabolical, I wasn't going to get my hopes up that he'd actually say my name on air. I didn't even know if they'd end up showing it at all.

The Original Taylor Swift Montage:

Juzwiak then goes on to explain that a shortened, higher quality version of his and Spencer's video aired during Leno's interview with Swift, with no credit for its creators.

What surprised me the most wasn't so much that Kate and I weren't mentioned, but that the video wasn't credited as having originated on the Internet. This is not an obscure work -- it's racked up over 200,000 views in a week! I thought at the very least, he'd give and indication of this thing's preexistence so that his viewers could hunt it down if they were so inclined. That was, apparently, expecting too much.

But really, the way all this went down is almost as good as if we'd been credited: a chance for righteous indignation is a gift, and I did get to see Taylor Swift's reaction to my video of her reactions, which is deliciously meta and very satisfying in its own right. Her seeming inability to see the humor in her behavior makes me feel like Kate's and my point is even more resounding. She is naive and lacking in self-awareness, it turns out without surprise. What is Jay's excuse?

Update: I heard from Sean, who chalks the matter up to the chain of communication and says that this isn't the first time that a non-Jay Leno creation has been credited as such. Go figure.

Perhaps in a response to the noise on the Web, Leno and the 'Tonight' crew did air a 'blink and you'll miss it' shout-out to Juzwiak and Spencer on Tuesday's show:

Juzwiak tells the New York Times that he's not bitter. "It's preferable just in the sense that it gets me more attention," he said. "A lot more people cared. I feel like a few people would have high-fived me on Twitter if they had seen this thing go down. This reached people who don't care about Jay Leno whatsoever, who weren't watching his show anyway."

A press representative for "The Tonight Show" declined to comment further to the Times. We're already looking forward to seeing if Howard Stern catches wind of it when he returns to the air next week.

Watch: Cookie Monster's Audition Tape for 'Saturday Night Live'

After watching Betty White land a 'Saturday Night Live' hosting gig after an online grassroots campaign, many other celebrity hopefuls tried to launch campaigns of their own. But perhaps the biggest star to give it a go is none other than Sesame Street's own Cookie Monster.

Cookie Monster launched a viral video Tuesday hoping to convince audiences and 'SNL' execs that he'd make a great host. His video features a full audition for the live comedy show including an opening monologue, sketches and a musical guest--Cookie Gaga. And it's pretty funny.

Some highlights of the fabulous audition include a stunning performance of 'Cookie Face' by Cookie Gaga, a hilarious 'MacGruber' knockoff called 'Macarooner' and Cookie Monster screaming, "Live From New York, It's Saturday Night!"

See the audition after the jump.

And The Winner of 'Dancing With The Stars' is....

After an eventful finale where Kyle Massey, Bristol Palin and Jennifer Grey gave it their all, it became obvious that any one of them could win the Mirror Ball trophy. Who was crowned the 'Dancing With The Stars' winner for Season 11. (Spoiler alert!) >>

Jennifer Grey has won dancing with the stars along with her dance partner Derek Hough. Grey topped the leaderboard for seven of the competition's 10 weeks. Looks like no one puts baby in a corner after all.

"I didn't think I was going to compete tonight, and I'm really glad I did," said a tearful Grey, who battled back problems all season.

Kyle Massey and his dance partner Lacey Schwimmer came in the runner-up position.

Bristol Palin and her dance partner Mark Ballas came in third place. As we had reported earlier, big offers await her irrespective of her performance including endorsements, book contracts and TV show offers. Get more at TV Squad.

Bethenny Frankel Shows Off Post-Baby Figure on 'Skating With the Stars'

Although Bethenny Frankel didn't score very well in her debut performance on 'Skating With the Stars,' she sure looked the part of a figure skater. After partner Ethan Burgess managed several creative spins and lifts with Frankel (to the appropriate tune of 'You Spin Me Right Round'), the judges gave their commentary.

Olympian and judge Johnny Weir said, "Your body is sick. I cannot believe you just had a baby." (Frankel gave birth to daughter Bryn in May.)

But he advised her to put more spirit into it: "You need to be in it, or stay on the side -- you have to really give it your all."

Nicki Minaj Talks Childhood, Crack Addicted Father in MTV Doc 'My Time Now'

Fresh off the release of her debut album, 'Pink Friday,' Nicki Minaj is revealing her softer side in the upcoming MTV documentary 'My Time Now.'

The brash young rapper chokes back tears when recalling memories of being raised by her grandmother in Trinidad.

"A lot of times when you're from the islands, your parents will leave and then send for you because it's easier when they have established themselves, when they have a place to stay, when they have a job. I thought it was going to be for a few days, it turned into two years ... without my mother," Minaj remembers.

'My Time Now' follows Minaj over a period of three months, chronicling her life in and outside the studio. The documentary premieres on MTV Sunday, Nov. 28 at 10PM ET/PT. Watch a sneak peek of Nicki Minaj in 'My Time Now' after the jump!

Watch President Obama's 'MythBusters' Preview

President Barack Obama may have a busy schedule, but he had enough free time to come up with a few challenges for 'MythBusters.' "I am a big fan of 'MythBusters.' I am, and so are the girls," he tells the hosts in a preview for the upcoming show.

The commander-in-chief, who will appear on the Dec. 8 episode of the Discovery Channel hit, has challenged 'MythBusters' hosts Adam and Jamie to test the myth of Archimedes' solar ray. Check out the preview, after the jump!
As we reported last month, the myth has been been busted twice in previous episodes, but Obama isn't taking no for an answer. The myth "hasn't been thoroughly tested," Obama says.

The challenge, according to Deadline, consists of proving "the ancient Greek myth that scientist and polymath Archimedes set fire to an invading Roman fleet using only mirrors and the reflected rays of the sun."

http://www.popeater.com/2010/11/23/taylor-momsen-gossip-girl/

'Gossip Girl' producers love drama, but seem unable to stand the headlines constantly surrounding star Taylor Momsen. According to Deadline Hollywood's anonymous sources, Momsen has been suspended from the show indefinitely because of her "offscreen antics."

Reps for the CW and Warner Bros. did not comment, but the report says Momsen is confirmed to miss at least four episodes, beginning with the show's Dec. 6 midseason finale. Momsen has only appeared in three episodes this season, though she is credited as a series regular.

In September, 'Project Runway' mentor Tim Gunn appeared on 'Gossip Girl' and didn't love Momsen's on-set attitude either, according to E! Online.

"What a diva!" Gunn said. "She was pathetic, she couldn't even remember her lines, and she didn't even have that many. I thought to myself, 'Why are we all being held hostage this brat?'"

Who Gets the Gosselin Kids on Thanksgiving?

This turkey day, the Gosselin children can be thankful that, at least according to one insider, their divorced mom and dad are in agreement about how to divvy up the quality family time this week.

According to RadarOnline, the truce between the famously feuding parents shakes down this way: All eight children will spend Thanksgiving Day with Kate Gosselin, who has said that one of her favorite things to do is cook for the kids, at the family's Pennsylvania estate.

Jon, currently dating 24-year-old government employee Ellen Ross, will celebrate on a different day -- possibly the day after Thanksgiving -- with the kids (6-year-old sextuplets Aiden, Alexis, Colin, Hannah, Leah and Joel, and 10-year old twins Cara and Mady). Jon's girlfriend has attended recent outings with kids, including a Phillies baseball game.

No word yet on whether Kate's Thanksgiving feast will be private or documented by cameras. Mom and kids currently star on the recurring 'Kate Plus 8' specials that launched on TLC after the 2009 demise of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8.'

Strife between the former couple has been making headlines for months, but recently, two of their sweet-faced offspring have also been showing signs of stress. Alexis and Colin Gosselin were reportedly expelled from their private school during what's being called a "challenging time" for the brood. Nevertheless, Kate has spoken out to say, "They're just amazing, resilient, loving kids."

After the Gosselins polish off all the turkey, potatoes and pie this week, they'll certainly be thinking about the most fair, fun way for the kids to spend Christmas with each parent. A source tells Radar a definite plan hasn't been firmed up between the exes, "but it could be a similar arrangement."

Fox Announces New Night for 'American Idol'

As soon as each season's Hollywood Week ends, and finalists start singing for fans' votes, 'American Idol' addicts coast to coast are on autopilot when it comes to tuning in for fresh performances on Tuesdays, and for the elimination announcement the next night. According to the Hollywood Reporter, that's all about to change.

Fox has made the surprising move of bumping the hit series -- about to launch season 10 with the revamped panel of Randy Jackson and new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler -- to a weekly Wednesday/Thursday schedule.

"Here's a chance for us to own Thursday nights," says Mike Darnell, Fox's president of alternative programming, who is gambling that having Ryan Seacrest preside over the suspenseful elimination episodes one night later than usual will be a winner for the network (the night is known to garner the most lucrative ad dollars). He added, "You have to do a big move to take on Thursdays, and this is a big move."

With the Fox hit 'Glee' dominating Tuesday nights, 'Idol' will soon face a very interesting competitor on Wednesday nights: Paula Abdul's new talent competition, 'Live to Dance,' on CBS. Abdul, who has spent months auditioning talented hoofers to compete for a $500,000 prize, will have a head start, as her show debuts on Jan. 4, two weeks before the new season of 'Idol' kicks off.

'American Idol,' with its new Simon-free panel of judges, will air its two-hour season 10 premiere on Wed., Jan. 19.

Report: Mel Gibson to Appear in Court Monday

In the latest chapter of the Mel Gibson-Oksana Grigorieva saga, it seems the Oscar winner remains adamant about removing his 1-year-old daughter Lucia from the custody of her mother. And he reportedly intends to stand up in L.A. County Superior Court tomorrow to pursue his mission.

Grigorieva's recent CNN interview with Larry King has infuriated Gibson, according to TMZ. The new report says the 54-year-old father of eight wants the judge in the couple's custody battle (who had warned Grigorieva not to talk to the media) to respond. On Monday he hopes to show the court how serious he is about stripping his ex of her rights when he appears before the bench in person seeking full custody.

For the next six months, Gibson allegedly wants Grigorieva to have only supervised visits with no overnight visitation, on the grounds that her recent behavior "smacks of instability."

In recent days, TMZ says Gibson nearly called police when Grigorieva was two hours late in transferring their young daughter to Gibson's nanny, who had arrived for a 10:00 a.m. pickup but wasn't handed the child until noon. Apparently the score-keeping between the two parents is intense: a source says Grigorieva was merely making up for a previous exchange when Gibson's nanny was late in returning Lucia home to her mother.

While he was clearly a rage-filled handful of a partner (he has denied hitting, but has admitted to slapping, Grigorieva), at least Gibson has been described by his ex as a "great" father, according to recent testimony by the star's longtime publicist. The night before his ex-girlfriend's incriminating Larry King interview was broadcast, he and ex-wife Robyn celebrated their son's 21st birthday at a hotspot in Hollywood.

Country Gal Gwyneth Paltrow Would Love a Farm in the Future

While on location shooting her new film, 'Country Strong,'Gwyneth Paltrow fell in love with Nashville. Not only did she discover numerous hidden treasures that not even some of the locals know about, she has had serious thoughts about putting down some roots -- literally -- and buying a place in Middle Tennessee.

"I would love it," the Oscar-winning actress tells our friends atThe Boot. "It's funny, I was saying the other day my dream is to have a farm somewhere near outside Nashville, and make an organic farm outside of the city. It'll happen one day."

The Los Angeles-born Gwyneth currently splits her time between homes in New York and London, along with her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and their two children.

Gwyneth may be able to seek advice from her new friends Faith Hill and co-star Tim McGraw, as well as fellow Hollywood star Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban -- both of whom have farms located south of the city.

It could be a natural progression for Paltrow to move to Nashville, as she won the hearts of country music stars and fans alike when she received a standing ovation for her performance of 'Country Strong' from the film's soundtrack on last week's CMA Awards. Paltrow received help for her live performance from Beyonce Knowles.

In 'Country Strong,' Paltrow portrays Kelly Canter, a fallen country superstar who attempts to resurrect her career with the help of a rising singer-songwriter (Garrett Hedlund) after meeting him in rehab. Tim plays her husband-manager who pulls her out of rehab for a comeback tour.

'Country Strong' opens in limited release in Nashville and Los Angeles on December 22, and nationwide on January 7. Watch Gwyneth get her country on below:

FBI Investigates White Powder Mailed to 'DWTS'

First a guy shoots his TV over Bristol Palin's fancy footwork. Now, another viewer is apparently taking America's favorite ballroom-dance extravaganza way too seriously.

Emergency responders in Los Angeles were called to the offices of 'Dancing with the Stars' late Friday to investigate a white powder that was reportedly contained in a piece of fan mail addressed to Sarah Palin's daughter, the 20-year-old Alaskan who has remained in competition with 'DWTS' partner Mark Ballos despite poorly judged performances.

The FBI told TMZ, "The L.A.P.D., L.A. City and FBI Hazardous Materials officials responded to a report of a threatening letter containing white powder."

The alarming incident resulted in a section of the studio being evacuated, according to a source.

ABC said in a statement, "Security and the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department were immediately notified....Measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel. Ultimately, we were advised by the LAFD that the substance was determined to be talcum powder."

Whether the scare will further mobilize Tea Party activists, suspected by many to be storming the 'DWTS' phone lines in support of the Palin progeny, remains to be seen.

After the elimination of Brandy and Maksim Chermovsky from the popular TV competition earlier this week, Bristol Palin is now rehearsing her best moves -- to the chagrin of producers, who reportedlynever expected her to make it this far -- for the finals, broadcast live on Monday.

Lindsay Lohan's 'Inferno' Role Goes Up in Smoke

She's working on her sobriety at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif., but will Lindsay Lohan be working in Hollywood when she leaves rehab?

If she is, it won't be on the biopic 'Inferno.' Lohan is no longer in the cast, according to director Matthew Wilder, despite his previous willingness to accommodate his fallen star (who famously visited Cannes to promote the film) and keep her on what he once called "our movie."

The 'Inferno' director now tells E! that his team is moving on: "We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard...We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support...Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her, and some other issues, have made it impossible for us to go forward."

Lohan, 24, was cast in the heavy-hitting role of troubled '70s porn star Linda Lovelace in 'Inferno' before she flamed out in her personal life by flunking a drug test in September, resulting in court-ordered rehab (where she's required to remain until Jan. 3). And fans know the actress, whose need for income was recently documented in court records, was counting on the movie to relaunch her shakier-than-ever career; she hasn't starred in a feature since 2007's 'I Know Who Killed Me.'

Her rep has confirmed: "Lindsay is dedicated to her recovery and together they decided to move forward without her."

The decision may have been made during the starlet's recent furlough from rehab. Last week, Lohan was granted permission to leave Betty Ford for a weekend visit to her West Hollywood home, and she reportedly sought the "day pass" in order to meet with Wilder about the film. She also met with her father during her hours away from her treatment program, but chaos ensued when (according toMichael Lohan) Dina Lohan insisted that he be escorted from the premises of their daughter's apartment by security.

Dina has claimed rehab is making her daughter "a different person." Let's hope it also makes her a person who will take the bad news about 'Inferno' in stride.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway Go Nude for EW Cover

Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway take it all off for three different Entertainment Weekly covers this week to promote their new movie, 'Love and Other Drugs'--and the result is undeniably eye-catching.

The two stars go sans clothing in their upcoming R-rated film--so it seemed fitting to carry that theme over to the cover. Photographer James White, who shot the cover, said the co-stars got along very well and weren't too embarrassed to have some naked time.

"I thought they'd be a little more tense about it than they were, but it was surprisingly low-key. I guess after making a movie like that with each other, it's not too big of a deal," he said.

In the accompanying EW article, Hathaway admitted to feeling a little nervous about going nude in the film but said she got used to it by the end of filming. "There is that revoltingly embarrassing moment when you have to take your clothes off in front of strangers," Hathaway confessed.

"I mean, I don't go to the beach in a bikini for a reason. So I thought, 'Okay, I'm going to be in control. I'm going to do everything properly, disrobe at the last minute, and in between shots get the clothes back on.' But then I found that every time I put my robe back on, it rubbed all the body makeup off, and that added 20 minutes to filming," she said.

"As with all things in life, the second you stop making it about you and you make it about everyone else, it just got, dare I say, fun," Hathaway concluded.

See all three covers at EW.com.

Insiders: If Bristol Palin Wins, 'Dancing' Is Ruined

At first, having Bristol Palin participate in 'Dancing With The Stars' seemed like a brilliant idea. Just like Kate Gosselin before her, casting an admittedly bad dancer who was shrouded in controversy has raked in big ratings and tons of press. But now the joke is on the show's producers, as they fear Bristol is actually going to win this thing.

"This will be a disaster for the show if Bristol wins," one TV insider tells me. "Any creditability the show had will be over. It will go from being a dancing competition to a popularity competition where whoever has the most rabid fan base will always win no matter how little talent they have."

And while it's true Bristol's dancing has dramatically improved since the season began, no one with working eyes would put her in the same league as the other remaining stars, Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey.

"Another problem the producers foresee is that after Bristol wins no one in Hollywood will ever want to be on the show again," a well-placed ABC source tells me. "Why would a real star want to compete and lose against someone like [former U.S. Senate candidate] Christine O'Donnell or Levi Johnston. It's humiliating. The producers know they are in big trouble for sure."

And it's not just future contestants and viewers that the show needs to worry about. A friend of one of the judges tells me Bristol has made a fool out of all of them. It's now painfully obvious that the judge's scores and opinions mean nothing.

Let's hope they are all wrong and next season the s

Chris Brown Gets Another Glowing Probation Report

During a regularly scheduled progress report hearing stemming from his conviction of felony assault, singer Chris Brown received a glowing commendation from the judge, the Associated Pressreports. The singer was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor last year after being found guilty of assaulting then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg announced during Thursday's hearing that the R&B singer is close to completing his required domestic violence counseling and has completed almost 73 of 180 days of community service.

"Out of thousands of probationers, no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you," Judge Schnegg told Brown.

As part of his probation, Brown is required to do physical labor such as graffiti removal and roadside cleanup duties. Judge Schnegg is allowing the singer to complete the community service in his home state of Virginia though he is required to return to Los Angeles to check in regularly for progress reports.

"Obviously he's gratified and he's working hard to live up to everyone's expectations," said Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, said after the hearing

Could Everyone Stop Belittling Kate Middleton, Please?

Pop-Ed: Am I the only one ready to call out the British press as a big bunch of underminers this week. Yes they put on the veneer of being ecstatic over the news that Kate Middleton and Prince William are finally (FINALLY) engaged and yes, they couldn't be more excited for the royal nuptials, which are already being compared to the wedding between William's father and the much beloved Princess Diana.

Yet at the same time, they seem to find the need to cut Kate down just a wee notch.

The British press has been keen to point out that Kate is what they like to call "a commoner".

See headlines like The Guardian's: "How 'commoner' Kate Middleton won Prince William's heart"

Commoner means not royal. We get that. Kate will be the first non-royal to marry a prince so close to the throne since the 17th century. But doesn't it just sounds so nasty? It makes it seem as though William found her on the streets, pick pocketing the non-commoners and singing for her supper whilst wearing rags and ill-fitting dungarees.

In commoner speak, the word commoner equates to: "God she's average", "She's just OK" or "Eh she'll do."

Kal Penn Returns to White House After Shooting 'Harold & Kumar 3'

Kal Penn, famous for his pothead role in the 'Harold & Kumar' franchise, is returning to a job in the White House, according to ABC News. After taking a brief hiatus to film the upcoming 'A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas,' the actor will return to a new position as an Associate Director in the Office of Public Engagement.

His first day back in Washington was Nov. 15.

Back in July 2009, Penn made headlines after he left Hollywood to join the Obama administration as a liaison to the Asian American and arts communities. He also was extensively involved in campaigning for Obama back in 2008 when he concentrated on energizing young voters-even leaving a plum role on TV's hit show 'House' to do so.

According to the ABC News, even while he was away filming, Penn was still very involved in the political arena, making appearances for California Sen. Barbara Boxer and Nevada Sen. Harry Reid.

'A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas' is scheduled to hit theaters during the 2011 holiday season.

Maksim Chmrekovskiy on Bristol Palin: 'Shame on Her'

In what might have been the most shocking elimination show of the season, Brandy and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were sent home on Tuesday night's 'Dancing With the Stars'--while Bristol Palin and her partner remained. And Chmerkovskiy isn't too happy about it.

In an interview with E!Online.com Wednesday, the dancer revealed his true feelings about Palin. "I felt really disappointed with Bristol. On Monday night, I found out that she went on record saying that I said something about her along the lines of, 'I don't like her because she's still here and she's not a good enough dancer.' Every time I've opened my mouth about Bristol, I've been nothing but supportive...

"For her to come out on Monday night and totally smear my name the way she did, that's just completely uncalled for, " Chmerkovskiy continued. "I have no idea where she got it from, but wherever she got it from, shame on her and shame on whoever told her that."

Chmerkovskiy also admits to thinking the voting system is a bit problematic. "I definitely think that the system is flawed. I think there are a lot of problems with it. I have a lot of friends in the Philadelphia area who couldn't call at all. People here, in front of me, picked up the phone, dialed one time and it said, 'Thank you for voting. You are over your limit....' I think it's just a flawed system."

Suffice it to say, he's not rooting for Palin. When asked if he thought she could win, he responded bluntly, "I really don't care."

So, who does he want to win? "I think at this point I'm rooting for Kyle [Massey] because this kid has come on with no fan base, with not a known name, not someone who is in incredible shape or had a phenomenal dance background... Kyle does have the same resilience as Bristol, same dance ability as Jennifer [Grey], but he's just that kid next door... I think he's amazing."
